Spinner Software™ creates software packages that work with text analysis; we want to make exploration of textual information an easier task. In many areas of study, manual perusal of text information has slowed down and hampered research and the sharing of material to further common knowledge in important human pursuits. The Spinner Engine uses the incredible power and speed of high technology to assist the deeper study of very human activities.
The Spinner Text Analysis Engine™ allows the computer to take advantage of the knowledge of a human user while investigating a text, and takes care of the drudgery as any program should. It collects and collates vast amounts of information and then allows users to share that information, enabling researchers to work together, even across fields.
Our Goals are to:
- To create a powerful, user friendly, flexible text analysis software package that assists in research of textual materials spanning a multitude of disciplines.
- To create an environment that allows the use of research text data within and across disciplines without a great deal of extra time and energy.
- To create specific databases that assist in research on text materials in many different areas.
Currently, we have a product specifically geared to working on dream narratives.
In the next five years, we will be developing specific databases that will aid in examining text data from the following disciplines:
